तीसरे वचन में कन्या कहती है कि यदि आप मुझे वचन दें कि जीवन की तीनों अवस्थाओं (युवावस्था, प्रौढ़ावस्था तथा वृद्धावस्था) में आप मेरा ध्यान रखते रहेंगे, तभी मैं आपके वामांग में आने को तैयार हूं।

- तीसरे वचन में कन्या कहती है कि मैं प्रतिदिन आपकी आज्ञा का पालन करूंगी और समय पर आपका पसंदीदा व्यंजन बनाकर आपको परोसूंगी।

Seven vows given by the bride
Along with these vows, the groom also takes seven vows from the bride, which are as follows.
- While giving her first vow, the bride says that I will be on your left side in any religious activities like pilgrimage, fasting, yagya, donation etc.
- While giving her second vow to the groom, the bride says that she will take care of everyone in your family from children to elders and whatever she gets, she will be satisfied with it.
- In the third vow, the bride says that I will obey your orders every day and will prepare your favorite dish on time and serve it to you.
- While giving the fourth vow to the groom, the bride says that I will always support you in the sports done by the mind, words and actions of the body after taking a bath.
- In her fifth vow, the bride tells the groom that I will be patient in your sorrows and happy in your happiness. Also, I will be your companion in all happiness and sorrow and will never give your place to any other man.
- While giving the sixth vow, the girl says that I will serve my in-laws, welcome guests and do all other work happily. Wherever you live, I will always be with you and will never cheat you in any way.
