
Sharad Navratri Muhurat
This year, Shardiya Navratri 2024 will be celebrated from October 3 to October 12.
The festival is marked by vibrant and spiritually meaningful rituals, including fasting, night vigils, and religious ceremonies like Kanya Puja and Havan. It is believed that during this time, the Goddess descends to Earth to bless her devotees and ease their troubles.
Sharad Navratri Ghatasthapana ceremony muhurat
The auspicious Ghatasthapana ceremony will take place on October 3, from 6:30 AM to 7:31 AM, with the Abhijit Muhurat scheduled from 12:03 PM to 12:51 PM.
The nine-day celebration will begin on Thursday, October 3, with Ghatasthapana and Shailputri Puja. Shardiya Navratri will conclude on Saturday, October 12, coinciding with the celebration of Dussehra.
Navratri (Navadurga Vrat), is a nine-day festival during which each of the nine days is devoted to different manifestations of Mata Adi Shakti.

People also worship the nine forms of the Goddess and seek blessings to overcome the obstacles associated with the nine celestial bodies (Moon, Mars, Venus, Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu).
Navratri occurs four times annually - Shardiya, Chaitra, Magha Gupt, and Asadha Gupt.
Of these, two Navratris are widely celebrated: Chaitra Navratri & Sharad Navratri.
Sharad Navratri, which occurs at the beginning of autumn, is considered the most important of the five Navratris.
