  1. Take a Sankalp

Janmashtami 2024: Step-by-Step Puja Guide

  1. Start with a Holy Bath

    Wake up early and take a sacred bath to purify yourself before beginning the puja rituals.

  2. Clean the Space

    Thoroughly clean your house and the puja room where you will set up the altar.

  3. Prepare the Deities

    Clean the photos and idols of all the gods, including Laddoo Gopal Ji and Lord Krishna.

  4. Bathe the Deities

    Give a ceremonial bath to Laddoo Gopal Ji and the idol of Lord Krishna.

  5. Decorate the Swing

    Set up a swing with a cushioned sheet, and place Laddoo Gopal Ji on it after adorning him.

  6. Dress the Deities

    Adorn Laddoo Gopal Ji with a beautiful dress, flowers, a crown (mukut), peacock feather (mor pankh), Tulsi mala, bangles, and apply a sandalwood tilak on his forehead.
