About Navgrah

In Hinduism, the Navagrahas refer to the nine celestial bodies that hold sway over our earthly existence. The term stems from Sanskrit, where "nava" means nine, and "graha" denotes planet or the act of seizing/grasping. Among these, seven are tangible celestial entities—the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The remaining two, Rahu and Ketu, are not actual astronomical bodies but rather mathematical points in Vedic Astrology.
