Sawan Shivratri, observed on the 'Chaturdashi tithi' of Krishna Paksha in the Sawan month, typically falls during the monsoon season in July or August. According to Sanatan Dharam, fasting and offering prayers on this auspicious occasion bring blessings from Lord Mahadev.

Sawan Shivratri Importance

The sacred month of Sawan, dedicated to Lord Shiva, holds great significance for Hindus, especially devotees of Lord Shiva. It is a period marked by spiritual devotion, fasting, and joyous celebrations.

Reciting most powerful Vishnu mantras can bring immense power, success, and protection. In Hinduism, Lord Vishnu is revered as the guardian of the cosmos, often referred to as Shri Hari Vishnu. 

According to devotees, whenever the world faces a threat, Lord Vishnu incarnates to protect it and defeat malevolent forces. He manifests in various physical forms, known as avatars, to combat evil. 

Kamika Ekadashi is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. On this day, Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped with rituals along with Lord Vishnu, the savior of the world. Along with this, special measures are also taken on Ekadashi Tithi. By taking these measures, all wishes are fulfilled, happiness, peace and prosperity come to the house.

Rudrabhishek consist with two words Rudra and Abhishek meaning Abhishek of Rudra (Lord Shiv). 

Rudrabhishek involves the ceremonial bathing of the Shivling with a sacred mixture of liquids, including milk, Gangajal, honey, yogurt, sugarcane juice, sandalwood, Belpatra, aromatic oils, and specific flowers like Dhatura and Akand/Rui.

Panchmukhi Shiva (Panchanana), or the five-faced Lord Shiva, represents five distinct aspects of Shiva. These five faces illustrate different forms of the Lord Shiva: Sadyojata (Revealer), Vamadeva (Concealer), Aghora (Destroyer), Tatpurusha (Cosmic Being), and Ishana (Lord).

Shiva Shakti is supreme God. In cosmology, the entire universe is seen as being created, permeated, and sustained by two essential forces in a perpetual, indestructible union. These forces are known as Shiva and Shakti or Shiva Shakti.

शिव शक्ति सर्वोच्च ईश्वर हैं। ब्रह्माण्ड विज्ञान में, पूरे ब्रह्मांड को दो अनिवार्य शक्तियों द्वारा एक शाश्वत, अविनाशी मिलन में निर्मित, व्याप्त और संचालित माना जाता है। इन शक्तियों को शिव और शक्ति या शिव शक्ति के रूप में जाना जाता है।
